From an early age, geography and the natural world have remained of deep fascination to me. Yet it wasn't until discovering an alarming, but oddly captivating anthology titled The Fragile Earth, that I aligned my long-held fascination with purpose. Through many books alike and an undergraduate journey in geography and geographic information systems (GIS), my curiosity for the field grew ever stronger.
I am a first-generation college student at the University of Arizona studying geographic information systems technology (MS-GIST), broadly interested in the integration of GIS and remote sensing in conservation biogeography. In addition, I aspire to pursue a PhD in natural resources, focusing on GIS applications for landscape ecology.
I'm passionate about conservation and have a deep interest in geography and Earth sciences.
